About Paulus Romijin
Paulus Romijn is a full time performance coach specialising in Presenting. Having run the Presenters Platform since 2004 and has taught at Les Mills international, Pie Funds, Chorus, NZ Film Academy, Disney Studios (Sydney), TVNZ, Student Horizons, Studio 111,Nova Models,Auckland, Wellington and Tauranga Radio schools. Paulus is a voice over artist and presenter and acted in Shortland Street over the last 10 years.
“I look forward to meeting everyone I work with and helping them achieve their aspirations and at times regaining their voice. There are no tricks to presenting well only dedication, commitment and an open heart. “
Paulus not only gives you confidence in front of the camera, but in yourself. This helped motivate me to enter MasterChef – if you think you’ve got it, go out and get it! Because of Paulus’ course I am now a much better public speaker and actually enjoy the media side of things (whereas before I would have run a mile away from anything to do with a camera!).

I’m a firm believer that one’s level of success is influenced by those who surround them, so when choice is available, I only want to work with the best. Paulus is highly recommended to me for his individual skills.
Initially I did it because I have my own videos on my website, and when I looked at how I came across on camera initially,
I became way more relaxed and myself in front of a camera, and I saw a significant shift in my performance. I also had a load of fun and met some great people on both courses.
The real test came when I was invited to be interviewed by Paul Henry on his new breakfast show on Day Two of the show! I had no idea of what I was getting myself in to, and was pretty terrified going into the studio. Paulus and I had an additional session the day before, and I felt very reassured.
Just do it!!!
NZ Herald Sports Reporter, ANZ Sports Scene and NZ Herald Focus Presenter and NZ Archery Representative.
I would recommend the Presenters Platform course to anyone, even those not interested in TV presenting itself. Paulus taught me such a huge range of skills that went beyond presenting alone. I learned about writing content, building valuable relationships, connecting to an audience and developing self-confidence.
Paulus is more than a course director – he is a mentor, an encourager, a teacher and a friend.
Amy Schaeffer TV Producer and Presenter
Paulus has a unique personal connection with people, and he recognizes that personal
vulnerability is a key to successful presenting. I do consider Paulus was
instrumental in my current role as a lead presenter on a DIY show that is now
currently in its third season.
