Jules Blewman

Jules Blewman is a professional guitarist based in Wellington. He has been a regular fixture on the local and national music scene, performing hundreds of shows across some of the countries leading venues, events and festivals.

 After discovering a strong passion for music he went on to complete his degree in Jazz performance at the New Zealand School of Music, Victoria University. Being accepted on to the course with the Vice Chancellors High Achievers (Arts) Scholarship led to many other awards / scholarships during his studies for outstanding work in jazz guitar. In contrast to this he is also a member of upcoming / award winning band ‘Tunes of I’ and has performed as a side man with Tui Award winning singer / song-writer ‘Amiria Grenell’ as well as many other ensembles and bands. 

His musical background is diverse with an in-depth knowledge of jazz, blues, funk, rock, and classical guitar, to name a few. This rich experience makes him a very unique guitarist and open-minded teacher.
