Bruce Roberts has been the Principal Trumpet with the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra.
He has held similar positions with the Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra and the Vector Wellington Orchestra. He has also appeared in concert with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra in Brisbane Australia, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and the Southern Sinfonia. He has worked professionally in Europe.
He has taught trumpet at Canterbury University and is now looking forward to passing on his skills to the Brass instrument students at Rātā.
