Musical Theatre Holiday Workshop

Our four-day Musical Theatre holiday workshop gives young performers the chance to build confidence in the three key skills of musical theatre – singing, dancing, and acting.

Led by professional musical theatre performer and Rātā Studios tutor Celia Macdonald, students will work closely with an experienced creative team in a supportive and engaging environment.

Musical theatre is about more than learning each skill on its own. This workshop focuses on how to combine singing, dance, and acting into a strong, well-rounded performance. Students will develop practical performance technique, both individually and as part of an ensemble.

Across the four days, participants will explore a range of musical theatre styles, from Golden Age classics through to contemporary shows such as Wicked. This exposure helps build versatility and stage confidence.
