Wellington Late Starters’ Orchestra

Started learning an instrument later in life or just coming back and feel like you are starting again? Here is an amazing new opportunity for you to hone your skills alongside others in the same boat. This is a training orchestra for players from Grade 1 upwards to build confidence and skills to a level where you feel you can join one of the higher level orchestras in the Wellington Community (or you can stay if you are having fun!)

Designed to be a fun, enjoyable experience tailored as much as possible to your level this programme is perfect for all those late teens to adults (any age) wanting to get out of their rooms and play music with others.

Each term a guest musician will be brought in to work with a different section of the orchestra.

When you sign up do please give us as much information as possible about your experience and playing level so we can tailor the music to your level.

This is open to any orchestral instruments so come along and make some music!
