How Rata Will Operate Under Alert Level 2
We will be continuing with our programmes as usual, with a few extra safety measures put in place, following the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.
Some important information for ALL programmes, about how we will be operating under Alert Level 2:
Participants ONLY will be allowed into the building. Parents will need to drop their children off at the steps and collect them from outside the building, unless it is necessary for you to bring them into the studios.
We ask that any visitors who are not registered in a Rata course (ie parents/whānau/caregivers), make use of our contact tracing app clearly displayed at the Rata Studios main entrance.
Every participant and visitor must wash or sanitize their hands as soon as they arrive. There will be hand sanitizer available on site.
All School of Music participants must sign in and out and All Drama participants will be marked as present or absent through our attendance register.
Due to the number of musicians in WELLSO, we will be using the Hall, or dividing you into two groups to work in a semi-sectional way. Mark Bobb will communicate to WELLSO musicians what will take place ahead of any sessions.
The College cleaning regime continues to be of a very high standard and all high touch surfaces are cleaned every day, in addition Rata staff will also wipe down any high touch surfaces between classes.
We will be making sure that the activities taking place at Rata maintain the recommended physical distancing.
Should there be any change to the Alert Level in Wellington we will let you know what our plans will be.
As always, if you are feeling unwell, please stay at home.
We can do this! We have done it before and will do it again.
Kia kaha NZ and take care of yourselves and everyone around you.
Jackie and all the Rata team.
