Wellington Late Starters Orchestra: WELLSO

WELLSO is an orchestra for any adult players and is based on the principles of the highly successful East London Late Starters Orchestra which is a string orchestra that started 30 years ago for adult late starters, regardless of age, background or experience.

Mark Bobb, the conducter and musical director of WELLSO says that “the orchestra caters for people who started learning an instrument later in life or learnt an instrument when younger and are keen to dust it off and get back into playing.” It is a great opportunity for musicians to hone their skills alongside likeminded others.
