Rata Studios Open Day!

Bring your friends and family to our first ever Open Day, from 11am -1pm on Saturday the 14th November.

Want to take your creative talents to the next level, or seeking to explore a creative urge in a welcoming and friendly environment?  Then make sure you come along to the Open Day and see the studios in action.

From Professional Level Teen Acting, to Introductory Game Design and Theatresports, there is something to tempt everyone’s creative juices at Rata. Explore the world class facilities of the Creative & Performing Arts Centre (CPAC), talk with tutors and students, and observe actual classes. 

The following courses will be showcased within the 2 hour Open Day:

• Miranda Harcourt’s Professional Level Teen Acting with actor and comedian Cohen Holloway
• Rata Music School showcase with tutor Mark Bobb
• Stop Motion Animation with Jess Weichler from Wellington Makerbox
• Electronic Music Production with Ed Zuccollo.
• Shine Time drama for children with Jo Rogers 
• Voice over technique sessions for teens with Perry Piercy in the Recording Studio
