Justin Firefly Clarke specialises in guitar, ukulele, banjo or electric bass. He also teaches music theory, composition and computer-music software. His lessons cater to all students from highly advanced guitarists as well as beginners as young as 6 years old.

About Justin Firefly Clarke
Justin Firefly Clarke
Justin Clarke is a professional musician with a Master’s Degree from The New Zealand School of Music composition and a performance degree in guitar. He has many years music teaching experience including teaching guitar in Germany and at the jazz guitar department of Wellington’s Victoria University. Justin’s diverse background in many fields of music means that he can bring a broad understanding of music to the student while catering to their individual learning styles.
Justin has performed all over the world winning awards at festivals in Europe. He has recorded on numerous albums and projects and has collaborated with many world-class performers. Locally he is known for producing the Woolshed Sessions and Jess Chambers as well as featuring with Fly My Pretties, Fat Freddy’s Drop and with The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra. He has also performed as a session-guitarist on the film soundtracks scored by John Psathas and Tom McLeod. Justin also composed and performed music for a scene in the Hobbit DVD set.
